Jamia Islamia Isha’atul Uloom, founded in 1979, is a distinguished educational and charitable trust and Islamic university located in Akkalkuwa, Maharashtra, India. Over the years, it has evolved into a multifaceted educational and welfare institution, significantly contributing to diverse fields, including education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and social welfare. The institution has earned widespread recognition and numerous awards and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, reflecting its dedication to quality management.

Dear Friends, Assalamu Alaikum,
I am pleased to share the 45th Annual Progress Report of Jamia Islamia Isha’atul Uloom, Akkalkuwa. Since 1979, we have grown into a leading institution, educating over 203,285 students across 19 states. This year, we empowered 21,469 students and positively impacted the lives of over 703,983 individuals through education, healthcare, and social welfare initiatives.
Our institution oversees 44 primary schools, 34 high schools, 16 junior colleges, and various specialized colleges, including those for medicine, pharmacy, engineering, law, and teacher training. We also operate 37 hospitals, including an 870-bed multi-specialty facility.
Our mission is to deliver a holistic and comprehensive education that fosters intellectual growth, moral development, and social responsibility.

Aims and Objectives
Our goal is to transform our educational institute into a world-class centre, offering exceptional facilities for students and staff. We aim to nurture the youth by providing both modern and moral education, fostering goodwill among all. Our mission includes promoting peace and international understanding through education.
We seek to expand our educational outreach by employing innovative technologies, extending our services to remote and rural areas where underprivileged communities reside. A strong focus is placed on encouraging both girls’ education and adult education. We also aim to link education to job opportunities, enabling individuals to secure a decent livelihood.
Additionally, we are committed to fostering dialogue between different schools of thought, ensuring that all perspectives are heard, and promoting the discovery of truth. By providing a supportive environment and encouraging positive attitudes, we strive to build an integrated society grounded in high moral values, contributing to the strength of our great nation.
Lastly, our objectives extend to social work, including the establishment of hospitals, clinics, hostels, wells, bore wells, and other essential services to support the community.

Land Area: 209,392 sq. mt.

Playgrounds: 147,000 sq. mt.
Staff Quarters: 26,923 sq. mt.
Modern Facilities: A futuristic campus featuring a beautiful garden covering 21,220 sq. mt., with open spaces of 146,386 sq. mt. and spacious playgrounds.
Amenities: The campus includes a gymkhana, telecommunication facilities, a bank, cafeterias, and consumer stores.
Internet and Accommodation: 24-hour broadband internet access is available, along with hostels that provide boarding and lodging for 12,702 students (both boys and girls).
Laboratories and Workshops: State-of-the-art laboratories and workshops have been developed across all departments, including Medical, Pharmacy, Technical, Education, and School institutes.
Libraries: Fully-equipped libraries are available for each department to support academic excellence.
