Modern Education For Madrasa Students
Education is the means through which society imparts Taalim, knowledge, skills, and values from one generation to the next. This initiative integrates modern education to enhance students’ personal and professional growth.
Scholarship Scheme For Modern Education
The Jamia Scholarship Scheme covers the full cost of modern education for students who achieve over 90% in religious studies exams. For those scoring between 70% and 90%, half of the modern education costs will be funded through the Scholarship Programme.
Syllabus Overview
We offer a regular syllabus for students who have progressed from the Deeniyat program.
Our academic year includes 223 educational days, allowing us to cover two classes in one year with 8 hours of daily instruction and 2 hours dedicated to practice and revision under teacher supervision. Most of our students are older for their modern classes.
Our curriculum committee is currently developing plans for the next two years.
A separate syllabus is designed for students entering the Aalimiyat program who have completed their Deeniyat and Hifz at other madrasas that lack modern education components.
For these students, we will implement a bridge course to cover up to 9 classes during the first two years of Aalimiyat.
Many of these students are over 16 years old and have also memorized the Quran (Hafiz-e-Quran).
Modern Education
The curriculum will include subjects such as Science, History, Geography, Mathematics, and English up to Class Nine, enabling students to sit for the S.S.C. examination in their third year of Aalimiyat.
Starting in the fourth year of Aalimiyat, students will integrate with the mainstream education system and compete alongside their peers.
By the end of the eight-year program, graduates will earn both their Aalimiyat degree and a graduation degree.
This initiative will serve as a pilot project for all madrasas.
With Allah’s blessing, our madrasa students will be prepared to participate in competitive exams.
Jamia Isha’atul Uloom Akkalkuwa
Jamia Isha’atul Uloom Akkalkuwa is a registered non-profit Educational and Charitable Trust, home to over 12,887 students who study and reside on a single campus across multiple departments and faculties. Established in 1400 AH (1979 AD) with just one teacher and six students, Jamia has evolved from a small school into a prominent educational institution.
